Sue graduated Fire Shaper’s 200-hour RYT Teacher Training program in 2011.
Adding to her training Sue has completed several advanced trainings to include her 300-hour RYT with Raji Thron in 2015, Vinyasa training with both Raji Thron and Kanan Kapila, additional Master classes varying from Yin, inversions, Ashtanga and adjustments. Inversions and arm balances have become her specialty, bringing safety and play into her workshops that even the newest yogi can attend. Her experience and trainings are clearly shown through her diverse, powerful flows. Sue has also added to her Fire Shaper responsibilities as Senior Team Leader in their Westwood location. Along with administrative, teacher evaluations, Sue will assist in the coordination of Fire Shapers Teacher Training 2016.

The intensity of a hot room and the rewarding benefits, which come after jumping into a yoga practice, hooked Sue in such a way that changed her life forever. She has a passion for the tranquility and meditation of the practice and a desire to share the healing benefits of body, mind and soul with others.

Outside of yoga, Sue enjoys time with her amazing three children, four cats and her pup Brandi. She enjoys outdoor adventures, trips to the city and time with family and friends, which truly give her pleasure. She also finds the simplicity of a book, the sand between her toes, and the soft sound of the waves completely satisfying.

Sue approaches yoga in the form of play and exploration: always encouraging her students to take a playful approach to their yoga practice.
