This series is specifically designed to warm, prepare, and align your spine. It can effectively be used on its own or as a preparation for a deeper practice. The postures and process gently work through the spine and outer fascia of the legs, hips and pelvis to free the connections and integrate your movement. There are many opportunities to modify this sequence by shortening it or adding to it. Dr John developed the series integration to be used in both a hot and non-hot yoga class. The main difference between the two practices is that in a non-hot practice be sure to take more time entering and exiting postures and work within your normal ranges of depth as you won’t have the benefits of the heat to assist.
